We chose Ippikos Omilos in Thessaloniki because we wanted a wedding venue that felt both classically elegant and utterly magical—and it delivered! Looking back, the entire day felt like a dream, and we knew we needed someone truly special to capture it.
As a fine art cinematographer, my vision for their film was to capture the sophisticated elegance of the setting while preserving the genuine, heartfelt connection between them. The grounds of Ippikos Omilos provided the ideal backdrop—a beautiful blend of classic architecture and lush, natural beauty that elevated every frame.
We were lucky enough to hire Makis Nikolaidis as our wedding videographer. We were a little worried about feeling awkward on camera, but Makis was fantastic. He's a true fine art cinematographer who somehow managed to capture all the big, beautiful moments and all the small, secret glances without ever making us feel posed.
The film perfectly shows the joy of our friends, the love in our family, and the stunning atmosphere of Ippikos Omilos. It's more than a video; it's the feeling of our Thessaloniki wedding preserved forever.
